India has no chemical weapons

India seems to be showing the way in destroying its chemical weapons aresenal. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), which won the Nobel Peace Prize 2013, has revealed India, Albania and South Korea are the only countries to have destroyed their stockpiles. The OPCW said that, Albania, India, Iraq, Libya, the Russian Federation and the US — which have declared chemical weapons must destroy 8.67 million items, including munitions and containers containing in total, 71,196 metric tonnes of toxic chemicals. Albania and India have completed destruction.
