Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) - Puducherry.
Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Awards for 2014 was announced
China launched Made in China campaign to counter India. The launch of the campaign coincided with the launch of Made In India campaign.
India announced to contribute 12 million US dollars to the United Nations to fight the deadly Ebola virus in Africa. The contribution was approved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Supreme Court of India struck down the National Tax Tribunal (NTT) Act, 2005 terming it as unconstitutional.
