Prime Minister Narendra Modi
launched (July 26, 2014) an online platform mygov.nic.in to engage
citizens in the task of “good governance” (surajya) as he completed 60 days in
office. MyGov is a technology-driven platform that would provide people with
the opportunity to contribute towards good governance.
The platform has been divided
into various groups namely Clean Ganga, Girl Child Education, Clean India,
Skilled India, Digital India, Job Creation. In a video address on his website,
Mr. Modi stressed that democracy could not succeed without people’s
participation.
