S. K. Kaul - new CJ of Madras HC

President Pranab Mukherjee has cleared the transfer of the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Sanjay Kishan Kaul, to the Madras High Court, where he will replace acting Chief Justice, S.K. Agnihotri.

Justice Kaul, 56, from Delhi, enrolled as an advocate in 1982. He practised in the Delhi High Court and in the Supreme Court. He became the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court in June 2013.
