On August 21, 2011 (Sunday), me with Loganathan, Madhu, Dr. Manigandan, Venkatesh and Karthick gone to Marina Beach for "India Against Corruption" (supported by Anna Hazare). The world's second longest beach as usual busy on Sunday. But near to the Gandhi Statue, this gathering happened. I expected a lot to gather but was disappointed when seen the gathering. Not much when compered to other cities in India. Around 3000 to 5000 only gathered (but ToI reports that 8000 gathered). Everyone raised slogan .. Some slogan which i like the most is..."
Twinkle Twinkle little star, Anna hazare super star" But some people who came to beach dont know why this protest and for what they protest too... (even those who sat too dont know what is Lokpal and Jan Lokpal, but everyone has thought taht Corruption should be go away) To my surprise, only North Indians are most in number in Chennai gathering. It was a different experience for me.
