India Vs Pakistan (cricket match) - A typical scene where world never can see

Now in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2011, in Second Semi-finals, it will be India facing the 'arch rival' Pakistan (Like this only Indian media are quoted; I hate this word..) In a game victory or defeat is common to all. If we need victory alone, then IPL will be the best. Whichever IPL team wins, surely Indian players will be there. In India (that too 24*7 news channels are always crazy about cricket and cinema/ in other words they make people to belike that). PM invites Pakistan PM (i don't know whether Manmohan got permission from Obama for this or not); No tickets for public; tickets being sold at heavy rates; visa realxed for Pakistanis; Pak Min asked players not to involve in match-fixing, etc...
Will this pave the way for smooth relation b/w India and Pakistan? (Everyone knew the answer it is not at all possible. Then why such a huge cry over this.) I pray to God that no clash must be occurred on the match or afterward (whatever may be the result)
In India, Patriotism is revealed only in cricket matches..(that too if Pak is opponent team means, it is raising to some abnormal levels)

India vs Pak: VIPs welcome, others keep out

At the stadium, a section reserved for VVIPs will welcome the most important of the important without tickets - all they need to flash is a letter of invitation from Punjab Cricket Association (PCA).In fact, the poverty of tickets means that the 5000 visas sanctioned by India for cricket fans from across the border will go largely unused.Of the 30,000 seats in the stadium, 16,000 were made available to the public, with 1000 tickets being released online. The tickets were all sold out within two days from its designated outlets and bank branches. The rest were distributed to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and state cricket associations, who have distributed them to famous last names and PWMs (People Who Matter).

No World Cup ticket for Sheila Dikshit

Believe it or not the Delhi Chief Minister is not on the list of about 11,000 special guests for whom seats have been reserved for the India-Pakistan semi final clash at Mohali stadium. When asked whether she would go to witness the mega event in Mohali Sheila said: "I couldn't get a ticket for myself. If I could have managed a ticket, then definitely I would have gone there." Her cabinet colleagues Haroon Yusuf and Arvinder Singh Lovely have fared better. "I had bought the ticket a long time back. India has played a great game so far. Like every other Indian I am also enthused about the match. It would definitely be a great contest," said Haroon Yusuf, Delhi's Power Minister.

IAF chopper to fly Gilani to Mohali

Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani will fly down to India's Chandigarh city and he will then leave for India-Pakistan World Cup semi-final venue at Mohali by an Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter. The News International quoted sources as saying that Gilani will go to Chandigarh in a special plane and then the IAF chopper will ferry him to Mohali where explosive cricketing action will be witnessed by him and his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh.Gilani will return to Islamabad the same night. The media report said a delegation of about 50 people will accompany the prime minister. Some federal ministers and members of the parliament are expected to be a part of the prime minister's entourage.

Rs. 100 crore riding on Sachin's 100th ton

Bookies are flooded with bets on Sachin getting his 100th century against Pakistan at Mohali; estimated Rs. 6,000 crore to change hands on big bets. Not only is the match slated to be a firecracker; the odds set by the bookies are no less volatile. India is slated as favourites at 62 paise, while the Pakistanis are set at Rs. 1.58. All eyes are on the little master's performance in the crunch game that could land India in its third World Cup final. Sachin Tendulkar, who currently has 99 centuries under his belt, will be in the hunt for century number 100 as the Indians take on Pakistan in Mohali.Having missed out on the three-figure landmark in Ahmedabad, expectations of the little master getting to the record against arch-rivals Pakistan are very high. In fact, bookies have close to Rs. 100 crore riding on just the master blaster's century. The going price on Sachin scoring a century is Rs. 4.05, while a half-century will fetch Rs. 1.50. Insiders informed that Sachin's century odds are attracting more bets than the match itself."With more bets on Sachin scoring a century bookies expect that the turnover from the India-Pakistan match could be between Rs. 6,000 and 10,000 crore," a senior bookie told.
