Australian Open: Paes-Stepanek win men's doubles title
India's Leander Paes and his Czech partner Radek Stepanek won the Australian Open men's doubles title. The unseeded pair upset top seeds Mike and Bob Bryan 7 - 6 (7/1), 6 - 2 in the final. This is Paes' maiden Australian Open men's doubles title, the only Slam that was missing from his kitty even though he has previously won six Grand Slam doubles title. It is also his 13th overall major trophy having also won 6 mixed doubles titles. Paes could still add another Slam to his name as he is still in contention for the mixed doubles titles along with his Russian partner Elena Venina.
